Your Official Sunday, April 13, 2003 Randomly Selected Wiener Of The Day Champion says....
On 1Wrestling they are saying that President Bush will be making another speech on Thursday. Now of course NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX will most likely cover it. Also, most likely if your UPN is owned by FOX (mine is too, I get the Washington D.C. area UPN) you will not get to see all of WWE Smackdown. Bush's speech starts at 9pm but who knows when the TV stations will start to interrupt the UPN ones, the usually want to cut in early to start to give early info.
So in point, damn I will miss the debut of Hulk Hog...I mean Mr. America.

I'm on the West Coast, so no problem here. But, I haven't sat down and watched Smackdown from beginning to end in MONTHS. I usually tape it and watch on Friday. At least I know I won't be taping Dubbya's speech.
Odd...I live near L.A. where Fox owns UPN (or have a partnership or something), but because of that, Fox plays the news and UPN plays something else, instead of being redundant and both playing the news.

No skin off my nose. UPN is WBZ's bitch up in the Boston area, and I wasn't going to watch SmackDown! until 9 anyway. I've got an awards show to go to.

As of Monday, April 21 at 12:55 AM, the Boston Red Sox' Magic Number to clinch the AL East is 147. A combination of 147 Red Sox wins and New York Yankees losses will guarantee the AL East for the Boston Red Sox.
For those of you that will not be able to see Smackdown because of UPN's lameness, take a look at alt.binaries.pro-wrestling using your favorite Binary Newsgroup reader (personally I use GrabIt!) sometime Friday. That's when SmackDown usually gets posted. Alternately, if enough of you are interested, I could find/create a BitTorrent that you can download.
Great DVD just for the fact it has all of the good parts from the Raw afterwards and the Edge bio he cut prior to the PPV. The PPV was good, the main event was the PPV and it didn't suck, so it was good.
