There haven't been that many lately, just short, boring promos with Hogan, HHH etc, and more backstage segments.
The 20 minute interview reached its peak with the McMahon-Helmsley regime in 2000. One of my all-time favorite quotes came from Chris Benoit during this era. I forgot the exact quote but he was talking how these interviews would set up a tag-team match. Anybody know what I'm talking about?
"Catching Hitler was neato!" "Next stop, Hirohito!" Bart Simpson
Now that you've pointed that out, they'll probably bust out a 20 minute promo instead of a main event this Monday on Raw. I predict it will be a skit with Nash and Pac entitled "Dude, Where's Our Bud?"
Gabriel's entrace gear reminded me of Arthur from "The Tick". I want to see what unfolds with Punk and Young now. I'm still not intrigued by Barrett, but I'll be open minded and give him a chance. I'm really, really digging Bryan.
