I hate to interrupt the party, but...

In a true tournament, like the NCAA tournament for instance, the seed pairings would be SLIGHTLY different. They'd go along these lines...

1-16
8-9
5-12
4-13
6-11
3-14
7-10
2-15

That being said, this is what the second-round matchups would be...

REGION 1
(1)Steve Austin v. (9)Billy Gunn
(4)Kevin Nash v. (5)Edge
(3)Shawn Michaels v. (11)X-Pac
(2)Chris Jericho v. (10)D-Lo Brown

REGION 2
(1)Rock v. (8)Bradshaw
(4)Chris Benoit v. (5)William Regal
(3)Kane v. (6)Diamond Dallas Page
(2)Undertaker v. (10)Hardcore Holly

REGION 3
(1)Triple H v. (9)Perry Saturn
(12)Big Bossman v. (13)Taka Michinoku
(3)Scott Hall v. (6)Test
(10)Tazz v. (15)Maven

REGION 4
(1)Kurt Angle v. (8)Rhyno
(4)Rob Van Dam v. (5)Rikishi
(3)Hollywood Hogan v. (11)Matt Hardy
(2)Mick Foley v. (7)Dean Malenko

Thanks Texas Kelly... I noticed that last night while I was crossing off Duke from my finals bracket (dammit). I did modify those for the second round before I started simming them. But that was a good catch considering I wouldn't even have noticed if I hadn't been looking at my NCAA brackets last night...

So for all 1 of you reading these results... lol... consider the above post by Texas Kelly the official match-ups for Round 2.

Seriously. Triple H v. Saturn? Is that f'n cool or what? It's SUCH an old-school "Kung-fu" movie type vibe. Two fighters from the same school lock horns to determine who the best is. I can see it now. HHH does the standard HHH-asshole act, Saturn slaps him around a bit. HHH makes the mistake of his life and stiffs Saturn, causing Saturn to just go absolutely apeshit for a few seconds, kicking HHH's ass legit and then looking into the camera and saying, "You're welcome!"

There are no facts-only observational postulates in an endlessly regenerative hodgepodge of predictions. Consensus reality requires a fixed frame of reference. In a multilevel, infinite universe, there can be no fixity; thus, no absolute consensus reality. In a relativistic universe, it appears impossible to test the reliability of any expert by requiring him to agree with another expert. Both can be correct, each in his own inertial system.

I hear they're changing the poster after this past weekend - it now features Debra (and her two favorite lawyers).
