Well as far as I'm concerned, they both suck equally, but there you go.
In this shit stained passing-of-the-torch, there really are no winners, we go from one undeserving handpicked corporate champion to another, what a wonderful time to be a fan of WWE.
I can't say I've ever been happier that I don't watch this miserable programme anymore.
Undeserved? Come on and Cena was far from handpicked like a Roman was, Cena was really a midcard guy at best stuck in a feud with Rikishi and coming out on the losing end more times than not and got himself over once he started rapping. Cena was not the hand picked guy until Brock left and Orion bombed terribly as a babyface. I would say Cena opened his own door and wasn't handed anything.
Ah back in the days when fans helped pick who was over or face/heel. When after six months of being a babyface isn't working they turn you back into the heel legend killer.
What made Reigns-Cena suck for me was the post match stuff. Cena looks distraught, thinking his time is over. Sure, no problem. Did I expect a heel turn? Naaah.. But then getting up and doing the handraise of super appreciation and respect killed it for me. At least begrudgingly say you respect the fact that he beat you in the next few weeks. Don't sing his praises right away. THAT is what made is come across as forced to me. The match itself was okay.
Reigns has terrible (repetitive) offense but sells pretty well. Better than Cena in his prime.
Cesaro toughing it out shows what a badass he (and most wrestlers in general) is.
Strowman-Lesnar was annoying. A decent power match until the end.It seems like they want to make the F5 the unbeatable finish (while in the past people have kicked out and/or Brock decided he wanted to do more than one) Lesnar pretty much got his ass kicked then F5...over.
Miz and Jordan had a good match, though not as good as Jordan had with Cena and Reigns. Have to say though, the guy is a great inring athlete. The women's match was really solid and the tag match was really good too. Enzo's win was predicted ofcourse and to be honest I don't recall anything about the Balor-Wyatt match other than "hey Finn has new color trunks"
I'm going to go over to Lake Hiawatha NJ (Parsippany, basically) to go to the free "TV" taping for the Jersey All Pro Wrestling internet show tonight. I don't really watch internet shows (no broadband)
