One guy people like, one guy who has the possibilities of being a player sometime down the road, and they job him out bigtime to Batista.

Yeah, Dave should have won in a squash, but there are a number of "credible" players that could have been killed by him rather then the Manbeast. Val Venis, Hurricane, Tajiri, Tomko, Snitsky (well...), Viscera.

No one cares about Rhyno. He couldn't even get the tag titles off La Resistance and looked like a dick for trying. Whats the deal here?

Part of the point of the six matches was that the top six guys beat arguably the next top six guys, err, OK next top five guys plus Viscera (but he's big, therefore he must be good) save for Snitsky, who can't really take a loss right now. The matches were supposed to look competitive. Would Batista squashing Val Venis or Hurricane have been the least bit impressive? Nope.

If they are in the mindset that Rhyno isn't going anywhere and they're going to do nothing with him, they might as well use the credibility that he still does have to help Batista, who you could make the case has had the biggest push on Raw of the past two months. Of course, there is also the argument to be made if the IC champ can take a loss to get the Chamber over, so can Rhyno. Or beyond that, one might make the case that no one will remember Rhyno losing in three minutes two weeks from now, so what's the big deal?

The fact that Rhyno lost isn't the problem, it's the way he was buried in the match.

Batista not only managed to beat the clock, but didn't sell Rhyno's finisher, and dismantled him with two Demon Bombs.

Yeah, that was my point, should have been clearer. The guy got buried. I'm ok with shaling off the gore, it was early in the match. But Rhyno should have gotten to stick it out a little longer.

But hell, it's pro wrestling.

It WILL be forgotten in no time.

Problem is ( I AM a Batista mark after he started talking and his in-ring improved), here is a guy in Rhyno that is OVER and.... BAH! Forget it.

His finisher has been stolen & he's short. That's why he doesn't get pushed.

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

The whole point was that Batista would have the shortest match.

Who else would have been an appropriate face for 'Teesta to beat? I don't want to see Regal or Tajiri squashed again, nor Hurricane (although I care much less about him right now). Garrison Cade? Steven Richards? Todd Grisham?

Funny, considering how Rhyno was slated to be in Evolution when the group first came about.

I personally think they screwed up Rhyno & Tajiri by not having them win the tag titles. I thought it was one of the better built-up feuds that they have had in a long time and it just kinda fizzled out.

Maybe Rhyno will at least get his due IF the whole ECW PPV happens.

I actually assumed that he would be facing Snitsky; that was the only opponent I didn't correctly guess. Well, him and Eugene.
