I haven't had cable sence last September. Trying to go without it. The only shows I really miss are No Reservations, Good Eats, and the new Spartacus Prequil. Noone posted about it on here? I had to go through other sites to read about it and watch episodes and clips. I though it was a good 6 episode season. I hope Andy Whitfield gets well soon.
I watched episode 1 so far, and maybe I started epsisode 2 - It's on Netflix.
so far, I like it, I guess. It's interesting to see Batiatus and whazziz name - his rival, as pals, and to see the genesis of Qixus (I am sure that isn't how you spell that dude's name, but close enough).
I am anxious to see how the two friends get mad at each other and how Batiatis' current Gladiator teacher (Doctori?) gets demoted in favor of the one who is it in Blood and Sand and who is a Gladiator now.
Lotta sex though. It's a little raw.
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.
That the universe was formed by a fortuitous concourse of atoms, I will no more believe than that the accidental jumbling of the alphabet would fall into a most ingenious treatise of philosophy - Swift
By Jupiter's Cock ! Mrs. Dunk & I were huge fans of Blood & Sand and big fans of Gods of the Arena. I actually think they writers did a pretty good job of backfilling for Gods of the Arena to allow it to work with the upcoming Blood & Sand Part 2 in 2012. Gannicus & Crixus still have some unfinished business as do Spartacus & Crixus.
As for Andy Whitfield, he will be missed. He was a GREAT Spartacus.
I think Aaron has a sharp sense of humor, but I'm still on the fence where Boondocks is concerned. This may be obvious to someone else, but is he making a statement, provoking discussion, or just being outrageous?
