But the more I watch of this season the more I think it has jumped the shark. Tuesday's episode of the show really broke so many rules for dramas that it made me wonder if it would be best for them to kill it after this season, I never thought I would say that prior to season 3.
They didn't go any further with the Kit / Carver storyline. It seems they can't handle so many simultaneous storylines and to throw in this new spa thing with Gina and Julia seems to be completely unneccesary. I really enjoy the interaction and relationship between Sean and Christian and the way it's evolving but I have to say that the way they avoided storylines such as what is going on with Matt, the Carver, Kit being the latest victim, going further into how Christian's condom wound up at the crime scene... it's dissapointing. You can't just skip over this stuff, it needs to at least come up. The show is really getting away from the continuity and strengths that it had in seasons 1 and 2.
I think it would suck for the Carver to be someone like Kimber who is so small... never mind the fact people have been raped stomach up which means they would have seen any kind of strap on if that was used...
I think Sean is the carver, it's the driving storyline of the season and I am really enjoying it if they would focus on it more consistantly and had more developments. To take an entire show off is quite wierd.
Caught a multi-media IMAX screening of this last night and goddamn is it a blast. I normally cannot stand Tom Cruise, but Jeremy Renner made it worth me taking a chance with this and I'm glad I did. It's the epitome of high-octane entertainment.
