-A new DS will hit in 2009. Known as the DSi, this new model will forego the GBA slot and throw in internal storage, two cameras, and an SD card slot. It will let you upload pictures straight to the Wii's Photo Channel and have its own browser and online store.
-Wii games announced: Punch-Out (!), Sin & Punishment 2 (!!), and a new line of Gamecube remakes. First up, Pikmin. I'm shocked that Sin & Punishment's getting a sequel, making me think that the original import went over HUGE on the Virtual Console. The Punch-Out reveal made my jaw drop with glee and it looks like they're bringing back some classic characters, including KING HIPPO~!
-DS games announced: Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, Mario & Luigi 3, Pokemon Ranger: Shawdows of Almia, Personal Trainer: Cooking. I am SO pumped for another round of Mario & Luigi, as the first two still get plenty of play from me.
-The storage solution for the Wii? Starting in Spring, Wii owners will be able to load in VC and WiiWare games straight from SD cards. As long as they make larger SD cards, I'm game.
-Club Nintendo will hit North American shores at the end of the year and IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME! The Japanese get some sweet schwag from there and now the North Americans can get in on the awesomeness.
This was one Kid Icarus announcement away from being the Best Round of Nintendo News Ever!
