Pageview 19M belongs to MMelchor. We rode out the server switch and another month of the search engines ignoring our name change (Yahoo! is coming around, MSN will soon follow - Google....who knows? ;-) ) for our slowest million in quite a while.

Well, it's also less Google referrals plus hopefully some improved navigation (as in I can see all the new articles with one click instead of going through fifty-some-odd different pages to read all the threads with new articles, for example). Probably before 20M we'll get some of the search engine hits back but ALSO I'll release the "show all new articles" page so there'll be more balance. The bottom line is: pageviews are an interesting metric, but not the be-all-end-all. There has to be some context as well.
My combination math is a little rusty, but if I recall, it can go something like this. Think about it this way. You have 365 boxes and 301 birthday cards. 5 cards go in the 1st box, the other 296 can go in any of the other 364 boxes.
