Didn't Nikolai and The Iron Sheik combine to win WWF tag-team gold?

I believe your right...I think it was before Nikolai and Boris Zhukoff got together. The Bolsheviks singing the Russian national anthem before their matches used to get them some MEGA-heat. I loved it.

Is the Soviet National Anthem the same song as that sung by the sailors on the Red October in The Hunt for Red October?

sure is...The song's kind of catchy isn't it? Boris and Nikolai really sang it well, too...THAT IS UNTIL THE YOUNG STALLIONS CAME IN AND WHUPPED SOME COMMIE ASS! Paul Roma and that other guy RULED!

Ahhh, reminiscing about the Bolsheviks makes me miss the WWF of the 80's (wait...no it doesn't)

Sorry about the mix-up. I posted the correction to this messed-up post, but apparently, the wrong one was deleted, leaving a cryptic silent message. The original question was: Does anyone know where Nikita Koloff is today? He was one of my faves growing up. You know, he had the whole bald, highly intense badass schtick down perfectly when Steve Austin was "Stunning" and Goldberg was a third-stringer on a shitty football team.

I'd think he was a few years younger--he was a rookie during the mid-80s, and Hogan had been wrestling at least a few years by then.

Didn't he get hurt by Vader and collect on an insurance policy or something like that?
