So....now it's the RAW guy and the Smackdown guy are fighting for ECW's championship.

The WWE Champion is on SD unless the RAW guy beats him.

The World Champion is on SD unless THAT RAW guy beats him.

So conceivably RAW could have no champions...or all three of them. I guess Smackdown could have all three as well. Sucks to be ECW! But at least the US title will stay on that show. I think.

I'm not a predictin' guy, but maybe you are. GO FOR IT

I'll start things off I suppose....

WWE Championship: Triple H vs. John Cena: Trips retains, see more below.

World Heavyweight Title: Edge vs. Batista: Batista wins, and the belts switch brands. Trips will stay long enough on Smackdown to drop it to someone (maybe) and come back to Raw.

ECW Championship: Kane vs. Big Show: Show wins to continue his push.

World Tag Titles: Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes vs. Ted Dibiase (Jr.) and a mystery partner: I'll go the safe route and say Dibiase picks DH Smith (and it'll be funny to hear the crickets when he's announced as the partner) and the newbies win.

WWE Tag Titles: John Morrison and The Miz vs. Finlay & Hornswoggle: He helped destroy the Cruiserweight belt, will he do the same to the tag titles? I hope not and the ECW guys retain.

U.S. Title: Matt Hardy vs. Chavo Guerrero: Chavo wins, Matt goes on to challenge for the ECW Title.

Women's Title: Mickie James vs. Katie Lea (Burchill): Mickie retains.

Unlisted on WWE.com, but will happen:

Divas Title: Natalya vs. ?: I'm assuming we'll find out her opponent on Smackdown. I'm also assuming it'll be Michelle McCool. Michelle wins.

Intercontinental Title: Chris Jericho vs. ?: Who will defend Michaels? It would be neat to see Bryan Danielson do so, as he was a trainee of Michaels' school too. And he just fought a Raw dark match. But he does have an ROH contract. Paul London was also a trainee, and he's under contract. It's probably neither, so I'll say Jericho retains.

If they really want to go with a complete shake-up to the top of the RAW roster, have Edge and Hunter retain, with Punk then cashing in MITB at the end of the night and bringing one of the belts to RAW. That leaves you with Edge/Hunter on SD through the summer, with a fresh top of the card for RAW for the first time in years.

Yeah, if you really want business to take a nosedive you have CM Punk, the guy who's been designated jobber since WrestleMania, to cash in Money in the Bank. He is not ready to be a World Champion. The straightedge CM Punk fanz would mark out, some people might tune in out of curiosity, and Punk would be exposed against the top guys on RAW. He has no credibility to beat Cena, Batista, JBL, or HBK. Hell, he's never even beaten Kane. For Punk, the best plan is to WAIT. And win. (If Creative lets him.) A lot. Win matches, beat people, gain credibility, then cash that briefcase in months from now. Doing so at this juncture would hurt him a lot more than it would help him in the long run. The Intercontinental Title and a series with Chris Jericho is what Punk needs short term. Which is why I'm calling Punk as Chris Jericho's surprise opponent on Sunday. Maybe he even wins the IC Title.

I agree with the theory that Batista beats Edge on Sunday while Triple H retains against Cena. The World Heavyweight Title returns to RAW to join the World Tag Team Title. Ditto for the WWE Titles. Symmetry! They pull the trigger on Batista vs. Cena, which they've basically been avoiding since they both became World Champions and main eventers three years ago. Meanwhile Triple H and Edge for the WWE Title can carry Smackdown all summer.

I sure don't know how the US Title/ECW Title situation will play out. I'm assuming Show will beat Kane and become ECW Champion again. Matt Hardy ought to beat Chavo. I would have thought that Matt would be the centerpiece of ECW to take Punk's place, but Show winning the ECW Title would muddy that. But in the McMahons' eyes Show is credible and an established main eventer while Matt is not. So it seems like, at least for the short term, Matt is still a second fiddle guy and not a main eventer.

As for Ted Dibiase's partner, I'm calling the SWERVE. Ted DiBiase's partner is... Cody Rhodes. They punk out Holly and DiBiase pins him for the tag belts. Go go Second Generation Superstars.

Mickie beats Katie Lea, a match I'm very interested in seeing.

If the Smackdown Divas Title match happens, Michelle McCool (it'll be her) beats Natalya.

WWE Tag Team Titles I don't care about, but Miz and Morrison won't lose to the midget.

Sunday should be interesting. Too bad I won't be dropping the $40, but I'm sure curious at how things shake out.

HHH v. Cena: I end up always betting on HHH, even though it's frequently wrong, and I can't resist it this time either. HHH.

Edge v. Batista: Batista.

Kane v. Show: Show.

Holly and Rhodes v. DiBiase and ?: I'm gonna wander out into left field and say that DiBiase's partner will be William Regal, and they'll win.

Morrison and Miz v. Finlay and Hornswoggle: Faces win. Who else are Morrison and Miz going to feud with -- Jesse and Festus?

Matt v. Chavo: Chavo.

Mickie v. Katie Lea: Katie Lea.

Natalya v. ?: Gotta be Michelle, who will win.

Jericho v. ?: If they mention Jericho at all, it'll probably just be a brawl with Shawn Michaels and no match. Although the way WWE treats midcarders nowadays, I wouldn't be shocked if CM Punk decides to cash in the MITB for an IC title shot...

World Tag Titles: Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes vs. Ted Dibiase (Jr.) and a mystery partner: John Orquiola beat me to it: Cody's the partner. Ted wrestles most of the match solo until Cody turns on Holly and joins Ted; they get the titles.

Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you...

WWE Championship: The belt might as well sing "Mama I'm Coming Home". John Cena wins and brings the belt back to RAW, while Trips stares down the inevitability of fatherhood interfering with his work schedule. (I fully expect Trips to be written out for a while via an "injury" as soon as Steph gives birth again.)

World Championship: Edge retains, either on a DQ or a cheap pin after the 52nd Airborne (AKA La Familia) runs in to prevent Batista from picking up the win. They didn't spin wheels for months with Edge only to job him out so quick again.

ECW Championship: Since it appears as though SD & ECW will remain joined for TV tapings (if you look at the listing for live events, RAW & ECW are only paired for house shows through the summer), Big Show wins the belt to keep the title in the SD/ECW family.

World Tag Team Championship: It's obvious Holly & Rhodes will drop the belts, and I'll go the predictable route and say DH Smith will be Dibiase's partner, since he's been totally missing since Heat died and thus no one will remember him anyway. Cody turns on Holly in the rematch to kick the 2nd-gen stable off.

It's a decent idea, but Regal's not eligible to return from suspension for almost another month.

WWE Tag Team Championship: Everyone thinks Miz & Morrison drop them here, and that's because they're not noticing the reality in the taping schedule. Champs retain.

United States Championship: Matt Hardy retains, as it'd be really stupid to have ECW's only draft pick look weak by losing right away. Besides, Chavo's headed for a face turn anyway ("Uncle Edge"? I DON'T THINK SO!), which would neutralize the whole point of switching it.

Women's Championship: It's been a nice little run for Katie, but Mickie retains.

Intercontinental Championship: We don't have an opponent, but Jericho must drop the belt, because he's now the top heel on RAW in the void left by Orton's injury and needs to be elevated back to main-event level as soon as he's done feuding with Shawn. The obvious candidate to benefit would be CM Punk.

Divas Championship: Unless Natalya gets sent to RAW in a supplemental draft to be a part of the 2nd-gen stable, she'll win the belt, most likely over Michelle McCool.

While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.

HHH over Cena
Edge over Batista
Show over Kane
DiBiase/Cody Rhodes over Holly - Rhodes defects to join DiBiase
M&M over Finlay and Horny
Matt over Chavo
Mickie over Katie
Jericho over Punk

I know this means no World Title Belt on RAW, but I would love a scenario where there is no belt for anyone to fight over on RAW except the IC so all the faces turn their attention to Jericho and elevate THAT belt to mean something again before the inevitable return of HHh and/or his title.

fter this past RAW...

HHH over Cena
Batista over Edge

The results: both shows get a world title, though the titles are switched. Wasn't the WWE title and World Heavyweight Title on opposite shows once before?

Mickie over Katie: If Mickie's drafted to Smackdown (should there indeed be a supplimental draft), the Smackdown Divas title will be dissolved before it even existed. Kinda like the Smackdown title, right?

Dibiase and ??? vs. Holly and Rhodes: This is going to be something else...I think that Dibiase buys Rhodes as a parter and beat the living hell out of Holly. It may not be logical, but it could be fun. I wanna see Dibiase bust out the Million Dollar Dream.

Miz and Morrison over Finley and Hornswoggle.

Chavo over Matt Hardy

Punk over Jericho

Kane over Show

I'm not sure I want to predict the whole card, since I haven't really been watching much as of late. That said, I have a definite idea about the main events.

Edge/Batista - Edge retains due to some sort of horrible cheating, maybe even getting himself blatantly DQed, and laughs as Batista has lost his final chance to take the title away from him.

HHH/Cena - Lots of back and forth, HHH gets the advantage, the ref is distracted, and Edge takes out HHH (Cena's knocked out and doesn't see a thing).. Cena wins the belt, Edge brags that he is now and forever the ONLY champion on Smackdown. Maybe he does an injury angle on HHH to reinforce his point.

That seems to make sense to me. That way, you can build a chase for HHH going after Edge, maybe drag it all the way out to Wrestlemania. On RAW, you have a frustrated Batista either primed for a heel turn or just simmering with rage and destroying everything that moves, with Cena inevitably getting in his path.

Of course, that booking makes a lot of sense to me, so it's probably not what they'll do. But there ya go.

I don't know why, but EVERYONE seems convinced that it will be Cody Rhodes turning on Hardcore Holly. I'm going to say that it's the oppisite that is going to happen. To me, it makes far more sense to have Holly turn on Rhodes. It was Holly that was slow to give respect to Rhodes when they had their first matches. It was Holly that questioned Rhodes decision-making for the tag team (ex. when Rhodes invited Roddy Piper to the ring which eventually cost them the non-title match against Santino/Carlito). And also, Holly has a much better charmisa as a heel than as a face, while Rhodes has a pretty boring charmisa that never made me buy this team as something special to watch and surely won't if he's paired with Dibiase. Besides, isn't Rhodes the one that Dibiase is threating to show his partner to? If Dibiase wanted him as his partner, I say the tone of their conversations would be really different, like Dibiase asking what price Rhodes has to keep the belts, with or without Holly.
