|I think that's fairly reasonable, if he didn't have much in the way of prior convictions. Jail time should make an impression, and nothing here gets in the way of a civil lawsuit down the road.|
That said, watch him get caught speeding within 18 months of today..

And you can bet your ass that he won't end up serving the whole eight months.

I don't know if it is unconstitutional... I mean, those Iraqis aren't citizens. And I'm sure it can be justified in some sort of martial law way.
