It's is half way through another good NFL season and at first, it seemed Peyton Manning was on his way to a historic 4th MVP but with Favre 7-1 in Minnesota and Drew Brees and the Saints off to their first 8-0 start in franchise history, it seems that the MVP race is going to be tighter.
Who would you pick for Coach of the Year? Josh McDaniels could be a favorite for helping Denver go 6-2 at the halfway point.
There are other awards to look at such as Rookie of the Year and numerous other awards.
Please share your thoughts on who you think is deserving on the MVP half-way through the season. Feel free to share anything else on the NFL as we get ready to launch into the second half of the season.
MVP: Peyton Manning Offensive PoY: Peyton Manning Defensive PoY: Dwight Freeney (Sharper's been great against the pass, but a liability against the run) (And yes, Freeney isn't great against the run either, but the run is a bigger part of Sharper's responsibilities) Coach: Josh McDaniels Assistant: Gregg Williams Offensive RoY: Michael Oher (imdb.com) Defensive RoY: Brian Cushing (footballoutsiders.com) Player Whose Stellar Play Has Resulted In Me Giggling Far Too Much As A Packer Fan (As Well As The Brother To A Bears Fan): Cedric Benson

Let's Go Riders! (10-7-1, 1st West Division, tiebreaker to Riders, first division title since 1976!!)
Ohio State has won a BCS game more recently than any single team in the ACC... They are throw-away bowls, but the networks want them there so they have something to show between the last non-title BCS game and the title game.
