I don't understand the Kasay/Mare deal at all. Kasay has more attempted field goals than Mare has successful ones. Mare is only 3 years younger, and paying him at least $5M more. Also, Kasay just got resigned, like last year. Also, he's 7th in kicks converted, 8th in points scored, and tied for 2nd in FGs from 50+ yds.
There's no reason we couldn't have picked up a kicker in a year or two, have them do kick-offs until Kasay retired, then have them do both.
I just don't fucking understand.
And then the Panthers signed Derek Anderson.

As sad as this sounds, he's a step up from Matt Moore. A step up in terms of how drinking out of a toilet is a step up from eating a turd sandwich, but a step up nonetheless.
Miami going with Matt Moore is staggering. What the hell are they thinking?
