It's a love/hate relationship I have with the NFL. Parity often means I look back at my predictions from the start of the season and wonder "What the hell was I thinking?" or "Who knew?" So I'll definitely try...
AFC EAST 1. Patriots 2. Bills 3. Jets 4. Dolphins
AFC NORTH 1. Ravens 2. Bengals 3. Steelers 4. Browns
AFC SOUTH 1. Colts 2. Titans 3. Jaguars 4. Texans
AFC WEST 1. Broncos 2. Chiefs 3. Chargers (A 3rd place finish would hopefully run Norv Turner out of town) 4. Raiders
NFC EAST 1. Eagles 2. Cowboys 3. Redskins 4. Giants
NFC NORTH 1. Bears 2. Packers 3. Vikings 4. Lions
NFC SOUTH 1. Saints 2. Falcons 3. Panthers 4. Bucs
NFC WEST 1. Rams 2. 49ers 3. Seahawks 4. Cardinals
Super Bowl: Patriots d. Saints
And just for fun, here are some...
MISCELLANEOUS PREDICTIONS -Chad Johnson gets his first fine in Week 2 for showboating -Tomlinson tears an ACL in Week 1; out for the season; Chargers finish 3rd -Larry Johnson misses 4 weeks with an injury; Priest Holmes kicks ass in his absence -Seahawks slump; Holmgren loses job as a result -Falcons and Joey Harrington shock the world by NOT SUCKING! -Lions shock no one by SUCKING; Millen keeps his job -Rex Grossman lasts 6 weeks before getting benched for Brian Griese -Vince Young plays the whole year and plays well, effectively ending the Madden Curse once and for all -Randy Moss makes his Patriots debut in Week 3 -Byron Leftwich gets benched in Week 5; subsequently demands trade (EDIT: Wow, I knew Leftwich would go down, but not THIS early! I thought he'd at least be named starter for Week 1.) -Raiders find their new QB when Culpepper finds his old stuff
South Colts (1) Titans Texans Jaguars (Garrard for Leftwich isn't going to work out.)
West Chargers (3) Broncos Chiefs Raiders
East Eagles (2) Cowboys (5) Giants (Bold predictions: Coughlin fired week 9, Manning gets pulled in at least one game. He's good, but it's becoming pretty clear he's not a New York quarterback.) Redskins
North Bears (3) Packers (6) Lions Vikings
South Saints (1) Bucs Panthers Falcons
West Seahawks (4) 49ers Rams Cardinals
Wild Cards Bears over Packers Seahawks over Cowboys Chargers over Jets Steelers over Ravens
Divisional Saints over Seahawks Eagles over Bears Colts over Steelers Pats over Chargers
NFC Championship Saints 27 Eagles 10
AFC Championship Pats 35 Colts 31
Super Bowl XLII Saints 31 Patriots 21

I LOOOOVE all the people picking the Falcons to finish fourth in the NFC South. I love Michael Vick and I'm not a big Joey Harrington fan but I don't know who decided that their switching places suddenly makes the Falcons the worst team in the NFL.
Also, Saints? Seriously? Not even making the playoffs this year.

smark/net attack Advisory System Status is: Elevated (Holds; June 18, 2006) While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.
