DeMeco Ryans (sports.espn.go.com) is the NFL 2006 Defensive Rookie of the Year. It would have been a travesty had VY not won that award. Of course, I'm extremely biased. Promote this thread!

Had Colston stayed healthy, you could then have had an argument. Who voted Bush for Offensive Rookie of the Year? That just seems wrong.

AIM: # 3 Posted on 3.1.07 1423.11 | Instant Rating: 5.31 Travesty? No. Young was the 30th ranked passer in the league and had more INTs than TDs. I'm kind of surprised at how easily he won. I thought Maurice Jones-Drew (950 rushing yards, 15 overall TDs) would've gotten more votes. College, Sports and more!: Experience It

Yeah if not for all the holding calls he might have put points on the board too. He's certainly a lot more mobile than McNabb which is needed with that offensive line. Made smart decisions, knew when to throw the ball away.
