All Cincy fans can do now is cry into their beer as they ride Shayne Graham out of town on a rail. To miss two FG's, including a 28-yard chip shot, is inexcusable.

Sanchez did great and managed to silence a lot of naysayers that were convinced he'd lay an egg in his first playoff outing. Carson Palmer, on the other hand, was just awful. It's the kind of pathetic performance that makes you wonder if he'll be the same QB next year or if he'll stay in that state of suck forever. (See: Delhomme, Jake for precendence)

I didn't think the Jets deserved to be in the playoffs, but now I'm rooting for them to go to Indy. There'd be nothing more poetic than if the Jets were to knock off the Colts two week after Indy had a chance to knock those Jets out of the playoff chase and instead chose to sit their guys.

Uh, Shayne Graham is not the reason the Bengals lost that game.

True, but those misses were still ridiculous.

At least the people of Cincinnati can now return to their normal routines and look forward to another crappy Reds season.

You are being waaay too polite to the Bungle secondary. I'm a Arizona Cardinals fan and that was probably the worst tackling I've ever seen.

Palmer looked like someone was playing as him in Madden and hitting all the wrong buttons.

Graham should be embarrassed, but they still lose by 4 if he makes those kicks.

Palmer was already playing god-awful football, but if Graham at least makes that 28-yarder, it's a one-score game and Palmer comes back in without the additional pressure of having to score twice AND cover for his ice cold kicker. I'm not saying Cincy wins that game, but I'm saying it's a lot easier on Palmer if Graham does his part.

No matter what Graham does, even if he makes both of them, Cincinnati needs to get in the endzone. Cincinnati could not get in the endzone, however. It would be one thing if the two field goals would have made the deficit three points or less. But at four points, it just doesn't matter. Graham should have made at least one simply because he's an NFL kicker and they were pretty easy kicks. But his misses are not the reason Cincinnati lost. Cincinnati lost because it couldn't move the ball down the field and it couldn't stop the Jets' running game.

Well surprise, surprise, surprise. The Jets may be this year's surprise team. I didn't think the Jets deserved to get into the playoffs but they did beat Cincy and had their first playoff win in awhile.

I don't see the Jets moving any further but kudos to the Jets regardless of getting this far at least (now the question is can they repeat this year's success or do better? They may not be able to sneak up on people next season like they did this year).

Maybe I'm off, but didn't the Bengals late season decline coincide with the decision to bring in Larry Johnson?

Two receptions, 25 yards for Chad Ochocinco, if I recall correctly. Maybe he should spend less time worrying about the name on the back of his jersey, and on driving a modified Hummer as "his birthday present to himself", and more time worrying about football.

Seeing how the name change happend ages ago, I think you (and certain members of the media) worry more about his name than he does.

Also, that truck was not a Hummer, bears no resemblance to a Hummer, and probably cost 5-10 times as much as a Hummer.

In fairness to Ocho, few people escape Revis Island.

Kirk, crackers are a family food. Happy families. Maybe single people eat crackers, we don't know. Frankly, we don't want to know. It's a market we can do without.
