I have seen this floating around on other sites. It is my understanding that it is not the finished product. If so, not bad so far, and already better than the spinner belt. Points to the first person that kindly reminds me that the kids love the spinner belt.

It would be cool if they used Spinner Belt whenever Cena is champ, and a normal belt otherwise.
The new "belt" design being passed around is an improvement, but I would rather see Jeff Hardy present a vision for what the WWE belt should look like.
Hard to see how big it is with nothing to compare its size to. I also dont like how similar its shape is to the current U.S. title belt, which still always reminds me of WonderWoman's headband.
Not a particular fan of the spinner belt, but I grew to become okay with it once they put a pin in the damn thing.
That said, this prototype(?) looks like the mutant offspring of the spinner and the big gold belt. Makes me wonder if this came to be from backstage talk of a unification. Certainly I don't see how you keep the BGB *and use this one for the WWE Champion.
To my eye, it would make a better belt buckle for a champion than an actual championship belt.
I seriously hope that's only one of the side plates. It's close enough that you don't really get much of a sense of scale, and technically, they didn't say what part of the belt that would be...

I think it's an unfinished version and definitely a center plate because of how symmetrical it is. Side plates usually don't say "CHAMPION" on it. They usually just have the logo, some weird country's flag, or an etching of people wrestling on it.
I think it's an improvement from the spinner belt, but not a big one. I like that it doesn't say "CHAMP" on it. I imagine either some intricate design or black paint is going behind the "W" logo.
Either way, vanity belts bug me and the fact that Cena's vanity belt became the main belt always felt weird to me. It's time for a change, something that represents the company and not just one guy, as it's always felt the spinner belt did.

Yeah I really hate it, looks like someone is making it at home with a cast mold and a bedazzler.

The Current WWE Championship belt has "CHAMPION" on the side plates.
Of course, I'm still waiting for CM Punk to follow through on his campaign promise during the Second Summer of Punk to change the way the WWE Title looks, "because that thing has been far too ugly for far too long."

Huh. Well I'll be damned. Never noticed it, I guess, since I've never really liked looking at that belt.
Even still, unless they want the appearance of sharp teeth with pointy side plates, that has to be the center plate.
Well, Batista has two lengthy world title reigns already, so I think he's already well past catching Luger's status. I wonder if Batista might be a candidate to be moved in the draft....
