Apparently, news about this project has been out there since July, but I only just heard about it this morning ... Now that Nickelodeon has acquired the global property rights to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, the final installment of the most recent "TMNT" cartoon will be a full-length (?) movie that not only features the latest incarnation of the characters, but also the versions from the 1987 animated series AND the original black-and-white Turtles from the comic books!
Even though I'm 32 years old and shouldn't get this excited about cartoons anymore ... that was friggin' awesome :)

AFAIK, nope.
Although I'm tempted to buy into the nostalgia I just...don't know if it'll be fun without the old voice actors returning.
EDIT: The movie will also air this coming Saturday at 10 am on the CW.

I watched the movie on DVR yesterday, and sadly Judge Philip Banks does NOT make an appearance ... Still, lack of original voice actors aside, this was a nice little bit of fan service for those who have worshipped at the altar of TMNT for all these years. I especially liked the montage near the end, where Shredder showed all the different versions of the Turtles that span the multiverse; they included Michael Zulli's interpretation of the characters (ninjaturtles.com) from the comics - which was unexpected - and even a movie still from the 1990 live-action film!
Overall, they did a good job having fun with the (for lack of a better term) "cartoony" nature of the original series, and I would recommend anyone who remembers those days fondly to give it a look ... Apparently, they're going to replay it every Saturday at 10:30 for the next three weeks, so you'll have plenty of opportunities.
Other highlights - animated versions of Tokka and Rahzar from the second film (uncredited, of course); making fun of the '87 Turtles having their initials on their belt buckles ("They're like super heroes!"); making fun of April's yellow jumpsuit ("Do you work at a carwash in this dimension?"); naming the original comic's dimension "Turtle-Prime"; the black-and-white Turtles calling their contemporaries "sell-outs" (right after kicking their collective asses); cameos by Eastman and Laird at the very end (at least I assume those were their real voices).

I thought that was supposed to be Tokka & Rahzar too. They piled on the goofiness a bit much with the '87 Turtles...they were silly but not Dumb. And the Internet says that was indeed Eastman and Laird themselves (assuming Wiki is correct). Also when they went to the '87 dimension, there was Irma and a lot of random background-character-design people walking around that showed up in the original cartoon (did I see the Human Bebop and Rocksteady, or just Generic Punks that would always be around?).

Yay. Cybermen. My Who nerd knowledge has faded over time. Did the old Cybermen ever get their origin told? And since no one mentioned it last week (and I just wtached it on DVR), I really liked the Madame Pompadour episode.
