However, the big suprise this season, at the start of the season looks pretty promising as far as "making them play from the get go" goes.
And, the first three weeks challenges are described as "THE MOST PHYSICAL EVER" so, that seems good. Hopefully it will live up to the hype.

But given past history, why bother. If it only starts as them being completely on their own, what's the point? And if they are still voting people off, what's the point?

No, but if it were truly Survivor then they should be stuck on the island until they ask off...

They really should raise the prize to about $5 million dollars. Then you would see people REALLY sell their souls to try and win. $1 million after taxes and everything is great but its not 'set for life' money. If you get $5 million, pay taxes on it, and invest safely, you can live pretty well for the rest of your life.

| Koror was smart to just take fire in the challenge but how dumb were they to take the new beach ? Why not make Ulong make the longer trip and have to start from scratch again ? You already have them down emotionally and now by one person - why not make them work harder too ? It almost serves them right that they flipped their outrigger and sunk their reward. |
Still too early to tell who to like and who to hate but I certainly did not agree withe the decision at tribal council. Bring on the rats.....

Since my wife and I knew that they were going to choose players via the pick-up basketball game route, we suspected the singing English teacher was going home first. We did suspect Willard would also being going home as 60 year old lawyers are not generally high in the pecking order on Survivor. I think Cobe the hairdresser did a fantastic job convincing everyone that Jonathan? was the one they ought to send home first. Though I think he really pissed off Angie, and I would not piss off someone with that many tattoos.

| #16 Posted on 18.2.05 1503.07 | Instant Rating: 1.99 | When the show was over, me and the girlfriend who always ALWAYS argue over what strategy would have worked, both came to the conclusion that teh gay guy was right NOT to pick the tattood chick. Remember, she was all like "OH LOOK! We are freaks, we'll get along" when he was probably thinking "Just because I am gay, doesnt mean I am gonna hang with the fag hag"
Good show opener, I would have kept willard as well. SOMEBODY has to be able to be a father figure type, may as well keep him around.
