| #1 Posted on 7.10.06 1321.15 | Instant Rating: 0.97 | The movie we've all been waiting for... over two decades in the making... FINALLY, TRUKISH STAR WARS gets a sequel.
(Ok, see, in comedic terms, this is called a 'bait and switch'. You tempt the audience into believing one thing, but you give them something that is completely NOT what they were expecting. What you give them has to be what you said it was or you get tons of hate thrown upon you, but when it's funny and the viewer can only blame themselves for not getting what they thought they were getting when in actually they're getting exactly what you, the 'bait and switcher' said they were getting... it makes the joke are the more funnier.)
Thanks to YOU TUBE, here's the excitingly awesome preview trailer! (youtube.com) Oh boy... I can't wait to see this one.| Promote this thread! | | JST

'Star Wars': The CGI Series credit: IMDb.com
Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi will be returning to the screen, but this time they'll be animated, and the screen will be much smaller -- the size of the one in your living room, George Lucas indicated Thursday. In an interview with the Associated Press, Lucas said that his company is currently producing a new digitally animated version of Clone Wars. "It basically has all the main [Star Wars] characters," Lucas told the AP. He indicated that the show will be ready to air next year but that it hasn't been sold to a network yet.

The hell with that. I was hoping for a sequel to the Star Wars Holiday Special.
