The E Street Band are playing backup. Let's hope this one is a little more Born to Run and a little less Lucky Town. I was born in a manger, like that other guy. You know, he wore a hat? Well, it's the first album from Bruce with the full E-street Band since Born in the USA. And it was recorded in the same manner, full band performance in the studio, minimal additions after. I can hardly wait! And Lucky Town was alright-it was Human Touch that was the bad one of those two.

I'm sure he can spare some time to go into the studio and record. Whether he'll be around to tour, however, is the big question. I think his work with the Weinberg Seven and Conan takes up too much time. I was born in a manger, like that other guy. You know, he wore a hat?

Yeah, I think they said he was in the sessions. I doubt about touring, though. I think he'd only be available for NYC shows.
I just bought his Best Of CDs last weekend. They include covers of "Yesterday" and "Eleanor Rigby" that are unique, bluesy and all Brother Ray. A master performer and showman, one of thos few that can turn any song into his.
