Seems TNA wants to push the TNA vs WWE war more:
If you go on to NWA-TNA's page Click Here (nwatna.com), they have a new t-shirt up under the merchandise section. It has the "TNA logo" on the front and "F**K Vince" on the back.

Homer: That's bad.

Homer: That's good!

Wouldn't it be more to push the fact that they want us to think Vince Russo is a bad person?

I think the shirt has a double meaning. For both Russo and McMahon. Maybe its for Vince Carter, people are pissed at him for using his long reach to grab that foul ball.

Hmm...think Vince McMahon is considering legal action? I know this must have SOME basis for a lawsuit.

Hmmm. Maybe the shirt IS inteaded towards Vince McMahon. But, just in case he does decide to throw out a lawsuit (although ECW had shirts that said "Fuck WWF", and he never did anything about them), then TNA can claim they were refering to Russo all along.

Because a paste-site says so, doesn't mean it's news.

Oliva: You are the weakest link! Goodbye!

Stewie: Ahahaha. Oh God, that's funny. That's really funny. You write your own material? Do you? Because that is so fresh. 'You are the weakest link. Goodbye!' You know I've never heard anyone make that joke before. You're the first. I've never heard anyone reference that outside program before. Because that's what she says on the show, right? Hmmm? 'You are the weakest link. Goodbye!' And ye...ye..yet you've taken it and....and used it out of context to insult me in this everyday situation. What a clever, smart girl you must be. To come up with a joke like that all by yourself. Mmmmm...that's so fresh too. Any Titanic jokes you want to throw at me as long as we're hitting these phenomena at the height of their popularity. Mmmm? Cuz i'm here God you're so funny!

Ha, I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if Vince and the folks at TNN/SpikeTV can get a 2 for 1 discount in "What's my name" court

The shirt is kind of ugly. But then again, so are many people who wear WWE shirts. I guess that is a bit creative since it very well *could* be Vince Russo. But a lot of people do hate him, don't they? So that is good. And he's often a heel. I can't wait until the HHHater shirts come out. Now, those will be good.

Love,

I know professional wrestling has never been the most..um..."professional" business in the first place and that competition had always taken potshots at each other during the Monday Night Wars, but this seems excessively bush league to market and sell a shirt like that.

For what it's worth, I also seem to remember a t-shirt marketed by WWF during the attitude era for DX that read on it "Screw You, Vince!" or "Suck It, Vince!" I know it was one of those anyway.

It was bound to happen sooner or later

Is that the image blurred, or is the finger on the shirt actually blurred?

And as far as a lawsuit goes, I'm sure VKM is far too busy kicking their ass to care.

I believe the finger really is blurred on the shirt. when I ordered TNA a couple weeks ago, I saw a person wearing the shirt in the crowd. I thought it was homemade though at first.

I don't think Vince McMahon could issue a lawsuit could he? I mean there's no proof that it's Vince McMahon they're talking about. If Vince McMahon could sue just because it says Vince then couldn't ANYBODY named Vince also have the right to sue them just becuase it could be about them?

Now use that logic on Spike Lee -v- Spike TV

Ummmm guys? The promotions head writer and top heel is named Vince... It's not hard to figure out what the shirt is designed for... (even though there is no doubt a double meaning to it)

And if it were in court, Vinny Mac would have no case... Russo is one of the main on-screen characters and his name happens to be Vince...

I have been thinking about this a lot. A lot. JBL's been the one pushing hardest for Daniel to join the Wyatt's, and it actually makes sense from his perspective. JBL joining a cult is arguably the best career decision he ever made.
