| #22 Posted on 25.11.02 2018.58 | Maybe it's a percentage of total Gyroids that can be active at any 1 time. I counted mine, and out of about 20 Gyroids, 14 are active.
I've gotten snow on a few days already. Just flurries, no accumulation.

| #25 Posted on 26.11.02 0701.16 | Instant Rating: 3.04 | Just for the record, I checked yesterday : my brother has 25 Gyroids in one room, and only fourteen of them move at a time ... So maybe the limit of "active" Gyroids per room is 14.
Also for the record, I have just two Gyroids

| #26 Posted on 26.11.02 0907.19 | I wouldn't sell the game just yet. That's kinda what I think the beauty of this game is - every game starts to get boring after a while, but this'll one's gonna have me turning it on periodically for at least a year. I mean, the Harvest Festival's this week. Gotta see that. And then Nook's having a sale on Black Friday. And the first of December is listed as Snow Day, so I'm looking forward to that. And so on and so on.
Besides, eventually, someone's gonna stumble across Punch-Out, which should lead to all of us owning a copy.
"Of course the people don't want war ...but, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament or a communist dictatorship ... voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger." ----------Hermann Goering, one of the original Nazis at his Nuremberg trial in 1946 | Pool-Boy

| #27 Posted on 26.11.02 1038.28 | Problem is that I already HAVE an original NES, with Mike Tyson's Punchout... so I can't get too worked up about getting it in this game! Yup.. I am definitly selling it. It was fun for a while, but honestly... I seriously doubt if I am going to pick it up again...

Yes and no. You will set the date on the game itself... and things happen based upon what the date is (holidays and such). These things happen every year, so if for some reason you think you did not WANT to miss Halloween, you could start the clock whenever you want, and it will go forward from there. Random events are just that- random. Certain people will come and visit your town (Wendell, Sahara, Crazy Redd, for example) at random times and days. So basically- you are missing nothing. In fact, you should find it easier to enter the game at this point... there is a lot out there to trade other people for...
