New Marlins hat hits shelves ahead of release (

Looks pretty hideous on a black hat, but maybe (MAYBE) it could look good on a different colored hat? I guess this is to celebrate their move into a new stadium?

They are doing a total rebranding -- new name (Miami Marlins), new colors, new stadium.

I loved the teal and black motif, so I wasn't thrilled at first with the idea of re-branding (though I understand its necessity). That said, I don't find the logo as repulsive as others, as the color scheme already seems to be a national joke in certain online circles. What I'm really dreading is the uniforms...I've seen mock-ups that have the uniform as orange (the owner's favorite color). Too busy for my tastes.

It's shaping up to be an awesome September, with five of the six divisions separated by less than six games and both wild card races just as tight. AL East: Yankees (76-52) -- Red Sox (71-58) 5.5 GB Blue Jays (68-61) 8.
