With the news that Hulk Hogan will be coming to NWA-TNA (for atleast one confirmed date so far) it got me thinking about some other wrestlers that haven been in talks or "rumored" to come into TNA.
*Hulk Hogan - Talked for a while and is coming in, but for how long?
*Sting - Did him and TNA just stop? I know they only got him for what, one ot two shows? Any news on when/if he will be back?
*Marc Mero - According to PWBTS he has been in talks.
*Jeff Hardy - I heard "rumors" that he was in talks. any new news on him?
So anyway, thats really all I can think of. Anyone know if anyone else has "been in talks" with TNA? And doesn't it seem like TNA is growing alot more then some thought they would?
It's like a koala bear crapped a rainbow in my brain!

I doubt it'd be for long. Hogan is an expensive purchase, and TNA really doesn't have the capital to keep bringing him back. Some guys might be willing to take pay cuts because the promoter is Jarrett, or because this is the NWA, but in all reality, Hogan probably doesn't care either way. It's not like he has huge ties with NWA like he does with WWE. I think this will be a one or two off deal where NWA tries to get a buyrate bump and Hogan tries to make himself look more attractive to Vince for a big payday at WrestleMania XX.

Not really. Sting has always really been his own deal, and He'll go back to NWA whenever he feels like it, really, which may be tomorrow and it may be never. Besides, unless you have him under contract or cave to his religious beliefs, you're not going to get him for an extended period of time without lots of cash.
*Marc Mero - According to PWBTS he has been in talks.
Well...I guess managing Sable's career wasn't what it could have been. I could probably see it happening...maybe two years ago, but Mero's pretty far gone when it comes to his in ring work, and he's not "legendary" enough (or charismatic, for that matter) for TNA to let him slide like they do with Dusty or Piper, nor is he in deep with Russo or the Jarretts.
*Jeff Hardy - I heard "rumors" that he was in talks. any new news on him?
For as long as Jeff is out of the business, you'll here "rumors" of him going everywhere, but I wouldn't buy into any of it. The last time he showed up to a show (RoH, I believe) he was a joke, and as badly as TNA wants to get off the ground, even they realize that having Jeff, even for name value's sake, is more a liability than an asset. Unless he can get his act together really fast, he's not going anywhere but little indies.

Well, the buyrate wouldn't seem to suggest so, nor would the fact that they're consistantly turning to lower card former WWE guys, WCW castoffs, and the NWA Legends Crew to try to pop a better rating. Right now they're still the little Indy that could, and I hope they make it, but they're going to need to be a whole lot better to get me to say that they're "growing". In the right direction anyway. Though, I will admit that they're much better than they were a year ago.
Wisconsin Badgers: 4-1 (Good stuff. I'm worried about Davis though. A sprained ankle shouldn't be THIS bad.)
Minnesota Vikings: 4-0 (Poor T.O. Gus Frerotte, Quarterback of the FUTURE!!)
In terms of finances: If Panda Energy is willing to commit money, they can sign mid tier and the occassional upper echelon performer. Its all dependant upon what type of budget they are provided.
WWF/E programming use to bring large numbers to UPN, but its viewership has been slipping as of late (Show Summary By Zap2IT). Of course, its all an internet lie.
The only thing I hope is, the show doesn't turn into the 'Hulk Hogan & Friends Hour'. Or else we could end up seeing Beefcake, Tugboat, Brian Knobbs, Greg Valentine, Jimmy Hart and company following suit.
"Here is your winner... and new NWA Heavyweight Champion... NICK HOGAN!"

I'd be surprised if Hogan is there long enough for this to happen.
