So, Palumbo and A-Train for Rico and Miss Jackie. I wonder which one of the first two was the one actually traded for Jackie ... that's kinda like being traded for someone on the sixth string.

Only three tag teams left on Raw now -- Flair and Batista, Hurricane and Rosey, and Grenier and Conway (who I guess are now La Resistance 3.0). Yeesh. Maybe now, though, they'll finally remember that Venis and Storm used to tag and bring them back from jobberdom.

Dudz to Smackdown is interesting, but I hope they bring along the more heelish attitude they were displaying last week. If they can do that, I'd be mildly stoked to see them feud with Scotty and Rikishi.

Stone Cold doesn't wrestle. Mick Foley will gone in a month. Triple H is leaving to shoot a movie after Backlash. Jericho is in the same realm as Booker and RVD right now. Christian is nWo B-Team 4 Life. Kane just got SQUASHED by The Undertaker (who you forgot was on Smackdown).

So what heels would RAW be left with if HHH moved to Smackdown? Uhhh uhhh uhhh none that could headline except Michaels and he's gonna need to take time off eventually and he doesn't wrestle house shows. Unless you want to try and sell a PPV with Randy Orton as a headliner right now. I like Orton but he's like a year away from that.

It all looks fairly even now with Angle being able to wrestle soon. Benoit needs all the heel help he can get. Guerrero just needs people to be fed to him because he's far more over then Benoit right now.

And who is pulling the heel slack on Smackdown? Kurt is there but he needs to heal up just as much if not more than HBK. Jericho and Christian are on the same level as Booker and RVD? Who had the big feud and big match at Wrestlemaina, and who was the random pairing thrown together for a throw away four way match? And even if Jericho isn't a main eventer right now all they have to do is put him in the main event and the fans will accept it, RVD and Booker T they're going to have to work on to get them to that level and Booker T is still never going to be a legit main eventer. Foley has said he's going to do 2 or 3 more angles so he'll be around for a couple more months atleast. Stone Cold doesn't wrestle, but they still will put him in main event interviews and segments like they have been. Kane only got squashed because it was Undertaker, he's still a major player and I left off Undertaker on purpose because I was only listing positives, the fact they have UT detracts from Smackdown's side. Orton isn't ready yet but he's on the same level as Cena who is Smackdown's number 3 guy and Orton is Raw's number number 7 or 8 guy.

So how is Smackdown any better off? They're obviously very concerned by Kurt, what if he can't go at the next ppv? Then what's your big main event? Eddie vs. Big Show??

I like this a lot. HHH had no place on Smackdown! A fued with him and Eddy would be the same thing as Kurt vs. Eddie with worse matches and a possiblity of H not putting Eddie over. Besides, after last week, I'd like to see the Benoit v Hunter thing continue with Shawn teetering between face and heel.

We already had the triple threat match at WM, so do you think they are going to do another triple threat at the very next ppv? Of course there's the line of thinking that it could be a triple threat ladder match...Talk about busting out the gimmicks. Anyone see an Edge run-in with a high spot of a ladder?

In a perfect world, Edge would screw HHH out of the title at the ppv. Then HHH would put Edge over huge before leaving for his next movie a la the Rock.

That's enough rambling for now...

Why would Angle want to hold onto Triple H? There's no love lost between HHH and Angle, and given how furious Bischoff was at losing HHH, why not get all you can? This makes Angle look more like a shrewd negotiator as he outmanuevered Bischoff.

Looking at this straight, does Booker T = 1/3 HHH, and if so, does that mean that he is only worth an H?

Is it possible the rumored HHH/Edge feud will start quickly and they will wrestle at Backlash in Edmonton? Edge is Canadian as you all know, but I guess the question is if he will be ready to wrestle by then.

I personally hope its HHH/Edge and HBK/Benoit at Backlash since they are both fresh matchups. I suppose the next logical step would be to have Benoit feud with Edge over the world title, that is if Benoit retains at the ppv. That's another fresh matchup there as well.

Since Brock's departure is (presumably) a big reason behind the "shakeup", they really didn't do anything to solve the problem. After the draft, you would assume HHH would slot into the top heel position on the show, but now that he's back on Raw, SD is left again w/ no top heels after Big Show (who is going to need time off at some point for injuries) and Angle, who's future is uncertain due to his neck.

What is the big deal with Smackdown being short heels? The champion lies, cheats, and steals which is very unfacelike. You can always create new characters and let the fans decide whether they are faces or heels.

Kurt as a GM is a good idea. If he is having legit problems then the GM role keeps him on camera but on the sidelines. Better to have him in a role like this temporarily than shorten his career.

What was the fucking point? Trade Trip for one day just to show he is worth 3 other guys? Yeah, this is a great move for Booker. His new catchphrase can be "I am worth 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 of HHH!"

The "big deal" is that they need to establish Eddy as a ME-level player by feeding him credible heel challengers. After Show, who do they use?

People are saying how bad the tag division is now. I think this'll be great for the division as it will create some new teams and reinvigorate some old ones.

Flair & Batista
A-Train & Rhyno
Venis & Storm
Hurricane & Rosey
Steiner & Test (Or Test & Matt Hardy if Steiner's hurt)
Cade & Palumbo (Why not? Give them a mouthpiece like Steven Richards and they're good to go)

I think you were missing my dry, bitter sarcastic cynical commentary on the "HHH is so valuable!" angle. I just meant that, to portray HHH's maximum value on TV, Angle has to talk about how much he loves HHH to make HHH look good, y'know.

It would be nice if it was made to look like Booker T and the Dudleyz added some value to SD!, but we'll see how it comes off on TV.

I wonder if Booker and RVD's move to Smackdown is a sort of last-ditch attempt to rehab them back into a main-event spot?

The whole HHH bait-and-switch is sort of... pointless but I'd rather see him on Raw, at least for as long as his issue with Benoit is somewhat interesting.

The thing is...SD is short on heels but they just got RVD and Booker T so I guess they could turn them heels. I think RVD turning heel would be a great way for him to have a fresh start.

I don't really see Booker as only worth 1/3 of a HHH. I think if anything you're overrating the individual value of Bubba Ray and D'Von at the moment.

Booker's easily 2/3 to 3/4 of a HHH.

As for heel challengers... don't discount Charlie Haas. I can easily see them giving him a shot as a heel challenger for the US Title against Cena while Show takes time off to heal up, especially now that he no longer has any ties to the tag division. And we still have a full two months to turn Booker T and turn him into a viable threat to Eddie's title -- they did more with less when they made Big Show a threat to Brock at Survivor Series.

This is what I don't get: The entire point of the Brand Split according to anyone who thought it was a good idea was that it would force them to come up with NEW stars. Now that they're being forced to come up with new stars, your complaint is that they don't have enough established, ready to retire ones to fill up both shows?

my two cents:
I'm a little bit upset that Triple-H is going back to Raw. I guess that keeps Evolution ongoing and the HBK/HHH rivalry can continue.

Why the hell would they send Palumbo to Raw? What the hell are the FBI and Palumbo supposed to do with out each other???

And, that goes double for Garrison Cade. His career is dead.Who the hell is he without Jindrak. The guy who even Matt Hardy goes over, that's who.
Than again, who the hell is Jindrak?

And, why did they have to split up Tajiri and Akio/Sakoda ??? They were badass, man. nuff said

Back to H, he had the chance to wrestle some new faces(Cena, Eddie etc)on Smackdown and to have a nice storyline away from Evolution while Orton takes over. Maybe setting up for an Orton/HHH interpromotional match.

any thoughts ?

This is pretty much what I was going to say. It's not like the business is hot and they're in danger of getting stale and losing some viewers, they need to take this opportunity to try and make a few new stars. Whether or not they can is up for debate but they've done an excellent job with John Cena and Randy Orton thus far, so I see no reason to doubt their ability to get young talent over.

It really seems like the lottery and trading does more to rehab the tag division than it does to help anything else. With all the midcarders moved around, you can put them together and get a bunch of good teams. Personally, I hope they put Tajiri and Rhyno together as a team. But as for the main event, while I think it's pretty stupid and pointless to make a big deal out of HHH moving just to quietly move him back, I agree that putting a bunch of upper midcarders on Smackdown to give them a chance at the main event is a better long-term strategy.

I haven't seen it, but in all the WWE DVD's I have (some as recent as late-2002 PPVs), the matches are shown the whole way through. If there are exceptions to this on other discs, then I have yet to see them.
