New England Championship Wrestling TV Taping
I think these guys are really underrated, and this is their first TV taping. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes their grapplin' action though.
VKM's in no danger from these guys, but if you don't support the alternatives, pretty soon there aren't any.
Besides, it's in Framingham, so you might meet big time Framingham area celebrities like Jonah from Tough Enough... or Lou Merloni!
I mean, he should be in NY that weekend, but you never know.
And there's always Kevin Kelly. He'll be there...

Sometimes I ask myself why I watch WWE after all the crap it's given me. HLA, necro, HHH, and so on. And then it hits me. That one simple phrase that can be modified and used for anything that gets you down, yet makes you keep coming back.

It's September 13th. As for television, here's what the website says: "NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING is currently in negotiations to bring NECW action to local television throughout the New England region this spring." So basically, they're shooting a pilot. But they've got a DVD on sale on their site, so if nothing else, they could always release it as a video.
Oh yeah...The Framingham show is also an open tryout. "NECW officials have put out an open call for all trained professional wrestler(s) who are interested in an opportunity to work for New England Championship Wrestling and appear on television. Wrestlers must get to the building on their own by 4:00 PM. They will be interviewed by NECW President, Sheldon Goldberg and NECW Talent Coordinator and former WWE announcer, Kevin Kelly. Those selected will appear in a Battle Royale that night, with the winner earning a regular spot on the NECW roster."

If so I might go and show support, if not I might wait till they make it closer to my home. I hope it does well, because I've heard that out in Boston and up in N.H. they have some real good wrestling schools.
