TV OF THE WEEK
Television is dominating the high sellers this week - notably, our top seller as I type this...
Star Trek: The Next Generation - Season One [Blu-ray] (The W at Amazon) (syndicated, 1987-8)  I'm kinda interested and kinda afraid with how these remasters may have turned out, but this may end up as my first Blu-ray purchase (well, second...I did get "Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie" as a combo, but let's not talk about that)
Masterpiece Mystery: Inspector Lewis Series 5 (ITV, 2012) ...which is actually the UK Series 6 (huh?)
Game of Thrones: The Complete First Season (HBO, 2011) "Hey wait," you're saying - "didn't these come out in March?" Well...yeah. But somebody said something about George W. Bush's head on a pike and the next thing you know those sets were discontinued and now we've got THESE sets instead...which presumably do not "disparage" the former President (and making immediate collectors' items out of the first batch...I guess)

Dreams From My Real Father: A Story of Reds and Deception (2012) We put "documentary" in air quotes as this film claims that all the furor over birth certificate suppression on President Obama's part is REALLY to hide the fact that his father is a prominent socialist/Marxist. WELL. To make it even better, they hired a soundalide to do "Obama" voiceovers. More at the hilariously named www.obamasrealfather.com - now, before we discount this out of hand, we would like to point out that this title's placement in the Top 24 still proves there's an audience for this kind of muckraking...especially during a slow week for new releases...

Dear Star Trek Fans,
We have discovered an anomaly in the English 7.1 DTS Master Audio track in our Star Trek: The Next Generation Season One Blu-ray Box set. There are some episodes that inadvertently had their front channel designations incorrectly mapped, resulting in an undesired playback experience when listening to them in a 7.1 or 5.1 Surround Sound environment.
We are quickly working to remedy the situation. Replacement discs (Disc 1, 3 and 4) will be made available free of charge. Please email phe.stng@bydeluxe.com for details regarding the replacement program. You may also call 877-DELUXE6 (877-335-8936) between 8am to 6pm Pacific, Monday-Friday.
