It contains lots of hidden gems raided from his Hard Drive (something skeevy about this, if you ask me, but still, I'm glad to read them), including lots of speeches about the environment, how much he loved gadgets (and Mac stuff) and some chapterts of the unfinished Dirk Gently novel.
Here is a sample and the favorite thing I read so far:
"I've come up with a set of rules that describe our reactions to technologies:
1. Anything that is in the world when you're born is normal and ordinary and is just a normal part of the way the world works.
2. Anything that's invented between when you're fifteen and thirty-five is new and exciting and revolutionary and you can probably get a career in it.
3. Anything invented after you're thirty-five is against the natural order of things."
“The function of a good teacher is to discourage film as a course of study for the non-avid. There are film societies and cinemas galore for the serious non-film student.” – Robert Steele, “Film Scholars at the New York Film Festival,” FILM COMMENT 2, Fall 1964, p. 41, as quoted in It’s Only a Movie, by Raymond J. I've torn myself apart.... and tried to figure out why... but the only answer i was ever given... that really fits..... is the fact... that women are crazy. | WyldeWolf1

| #5 Posted on 13.7.02 1646.48 | Adams is the only author to make me laugh until I hurt. I always explained him to friends as the Monty Python of literature. Turns out, he was friends with at least one of the Pythons (Graham Chapman). I'm not sure about the rest.

Mostly because Adams was a devout atheist...

Michael Palin played a huge role in the workings of Starship Titanic, the game that was released in 1998 or so. He was the voice of the parrot in the game, and was also the author of the accompaning book. I belive he (DNA) did plenty of things with John Cleese as well.
As for the new book, I have read all the small articles in it, but have still yet to start on the unfinished book part. It just doesn't seem quite right yet.

I'm sure we could probably find a connection between all 6 Pythons somewhere along the line.
