Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned former Cruiserweight Champion Neville is no longer under contract with WWE.
While details are scarce, a source with direct knowledge of the situation has now confirmed Neville — formerly known as PAC — is not tied down to a WWE deal as of this moment.
No word on when WWE parted ways with the wrestler, therefore it’s unclear if he’s still under a no compete clause.
As we previously reported, the 32-year-old wrestler walked out on WWE in October 2017 and he’s been radio silent since vanishing from the company.
Earlier this week … Cody Rhodes tweeted saying he missed Neville. Matt Jackson replied saying, “Me too. I talked to him the other day. He’s good.”
It sure seems like the are teasing an appearance at (hashtag) All In. I had been hoping he would show up on NXT UK, but I had also hoped he show up UK Tournament finals at Royal Albert, and I had hoped he'd show up at Wrestlemania at the Crusierweight Title final. Now I guess I can hope he shows up on New Japan. He is too much of a talent to leave sitting at home. Whatever happens, I hope this means we'll be able to see him wrestle again somewhere.
It's the most important meal of the day.
He'd be such a perfect fit for New Japan: he'd tear it up with the Super Juniors and, when they'd exhausted all those dream matches with the likes of Ospreay, he'd still be big enough to move in seamlessly with the heavyweights.
Last week's Slammiversary PPV was a great show. Well worth the buy. GFW seems to have added a lot to its production budget. The intro to the show featured a rare (first ever?) on-screen appearance by the deep voiced hype video guy.
