Hi. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong with this thread, but if I am please delete it and prepare the 30 lashes for me.
I pay for webhosting for a variety of different reasons. And I have a surplus I couldn't dream of using of spare bandwidth and storage space. But I feel stupid paying (as minor an amount as it is) for something I'm not using to it's full extent.
So I offer this to all W's, partially to make me happy that the space is going to good use and partially as a thank you for any help I've received here or will in the future, I can host your site or mirror your content for you.
You can forward the dns domain to the server and even have a whole bunch of subdomains and email addresses with that domain. The only thing I will warn you of if you're interested is that you won't have access to any kind of details site stats or raw logs. Unfortunately it's not available from my host.
That's basically it. I make no promises beyond that. I feel the server it's on is reliable, but if it doesn't work you're not allowed to blame me.
If you're interested PM me. Or post here, but it'll likely end in PMs anyway.
EDIT: PS. I didn't make it explicit above. But obviously, all this is free and no strings attached. I'm just looking to make the host earn it's money and maybe help someone out.
CRZ's the only admitted Mac user on this board who'd have any idea who Raskin was, I think. And he didn't say anything. The GUI concept dates back to the Xerox PARC (Palo Alto Research Center) in the early seventies and even before that.
