That is awesome. I was also reading on the GameFAQs board that there are recruits (even 5-star ones) who will fail to qualify academically. They won't commit and not show up but they not commit anywhere. More GOODNESS.

I'm playing the hell out of the game right now. PSU gets a Rose Bowl berth after blowing it's last game of the season, thus getting booted out of BCS contention.

I really like how the stats change from play to play. My semi-good DT had two sacks in a row, and went on to make two more, and he notched three tackles for losses. His stats were nice and inflated. The next game, he got pancaked a few times, and lost all composure. He jumped offsides when the crowd got loud (I wasn't controlling him at the time) and his stats clearly suffered. Simply awesome stuff, and I hope Madden does the same thing.

Man this game is awesome. I just played as Wisconsin, I was the home team and Wisconsin's stadium is ranked #8, so it was crazy loud. At one point the opponent's(UCF) QB tried to call an audible but his receivers couldn't hear so he took a few steps towards them and called out the play. The QB had lost so much composure that when he went back to his spot he lined up behind the wrong offensive lineman! The lineman had to wave him over to the right position.

Okay, I feel I must relate this little story here.

So, I'm at the mall shopping for a new cell phone with my mother. After we're done, she goes to pick up some stuff, while I go to the Gamestop and play a UWYO vs BYU rivalry game. She walks up and says, "Is that Laramie they're playing in?" A few minutes later I score a Touchdown, the CPU sets off the cannon and runs the flag around the field and she says, "Is that Cowboy Joe they're playing in the background? It is! You MUST buy this game."

My mother hates videogames.

I guess EA 2k5 and Madden '05 are going to have to wait. Wyoming Cowboys for National Champs, baby!

Of course, I'm posting this from two doors down at Radio Shack. Woo!

Is anybody like me trying to fill out all the rosters (or atleast some of them)? Know any good websites for rosters? Because I can't find any that match the players on the game (most of the starters I got, but a lot of the bench players don't match up).

Until I figured it was futile, I was looking at "official" websites for college teams. The gamefaqs.com stuff worked, to a point, but didn't seem to have all of the stuff I needed. Needless to say, I gave up.

Yeah I was using Gamefaqs as well and it was good for maybe 50 - 75 % of the team but the rest I couldn't really figure out. I guess it's not a big deal since the regular teams i'll probably use in dynastys and there will be more named players later anyway, but I would atleast like to have the historic teams right since those are probably the teams I would most likely use when not playing in dynasty mode. So i'm hoping I can atleast find all that stuff out.

A good website for rosters and just sports gaming in general is operationsports.com. There are people on the forums with rosters to download.

I've got borderline OCD, so I've finished 23 complete teams. I started by printing the most updated rosters of each team, using the school's official websites (usually they're in the 2004 Spring Guide/Prospectus of each school). Then I've usually got about five guys left, mostly freshman, so I go into the ESPN.com signing list and back to the school's website because they're usually on there, THEN the guys who have left school are on the 2003 roster, which I find on Google, usually at si.com. I've got EVERY player on EVERY team of the 23, and my EA Sports Bio says I've played 17 hours or so, while I've only played two full games and practiced some. Having the states in the players' info has REALLY helped to ID the right guys.

(And, I'm a huge dork.)

Every year I buy NCAA and a few new albums and get familiar with them while the TV is muted and I edit the rosters. I can't play with HB #24 and stuff. It's just not in me. I gotta nerd it up AND do it myself because I don't trust anyone else. DTA.

Since you guys are all doing this, you should post the rosters that you have (if they are cut and paste able) to save other people the time.

Plus, I'd love to get this Google Ad hits
