I'd love to be watching Minnesota at Chicago in glorious HD on NBC Sports Channel, but my provider (Charter) has broadcast something else this evening, relegating the game to a second tier channel.
So, is anyone else having this problem? I'm particularly interested in the other Wisconsin Ws, as well as those in Chicago and Minnesota. I know my brother in Madison, also Charter, has the same issue.
Bleeping Charter is at it again tonight. Tonight at least they have the decency to have a pre-recorded announcement when you call to advise you that it's blacked out.
Of course, they tell me it's due to the network. We'll see if I get an answer from the network on why someone in a different TV market from either team is getting the game blacked out. I'm convinced it's a Charter issue where they can't get their switching done right.
Hey Guru - If you see this, can your cable background offer any help?
Their explanation is that the game is blacked out on many locations across the country. They can't or won't provide me with any specifics, other than 'it's a network decision.
I get the same response with any person on the line.
