No new Parks and Recreation until mid-season! Weak.
I'm interested in The Event. With 24 gone, I do have the spare tuner on the DVR for 9pm Mondays opposite RAW so I'll give it a shot.
Undercovers is JJ Abrams' new show so he'll have my attention.
Thursday night's move of 30 Rock to 8:30 will probably help it a lot in my eyes. I tended to watch the Thursday night block all in a row and I'm usually all laughed out by the time The Office ends. That doesn't bode well for Outsourced, whatever that is, but I guess since I'm already watching NBC, I'll see how it goes.
Still, man, we won't see our favorite town in Indiana until January. That blows.

"Outsourced" is about an American company that outsources their call center to India and then sends their manager to India to run those operations. The only name I recognize from the cast is Diedrich Bader, who was on "The Drew Carey Show" and also the next door neighbor in "Office Space". Show creator Robert Borden previously co-created "The George Lopez Show", "The Brian Benben Show", and was a writer for "The Drew Carey Show" as well as mostly recently a writer for "Late Night With David Letterman".
Looks like Adam Carolla strikes out again. "The Adam Carolla Show" was a pilot for NBC. Last year he had a pilot with CBS called "Ace In The Hole" that wasn't picked up either. | EddieBurkett

If any show could benefit from a half-season rest, its The Office, since everyone seems to feel its drifting toward mediocrity this season. But I can understand why NBC wouldn't do that.

However, the cast is supposedly shooting the very beginning of Season 3 at the end of Season 2 to help bridge that gap anyway...

That was easily my favorite new show this season, and I heard it might not have been getting the ratings needed to stay on the air. Hooray for more Abed and SeƱor Chang!

A lawyer show that isn't Tennant's gets picked up, boo. A David E. Kelley lawyer pilot that ISN'T the one Kristin Chenoweth starred in? Double boo.
EDIT~! Munn's sitcom pickup probably means a permanent gig for Underwood on AOTS or a promotion for Haislip (less likely since she's getting acting gigs in movies) or (in the alternate universe I rule) the return of Sarah Lane!
Also,
Dear Heroes, Suck it. Sincerely, I can't believe I watched all of Season 3
Hopefully Masi Oka can get on a good show now.

More from NBC execs, focusing on Parks and Recreation's move, and Law & Order and Heroes' cancellations.
NBC should promote the hell out of Parks and Rec's season 2 DVDs and let the whole season run on nbc.com and Hulu to get maximum eyeballs on the show before its return.

It's based off the movie of the same name from 2006, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outsourced , which I hear is pretty good.

"Mad About You" gets a bad rap because of how it ended (and also the reference made to it on Seinfeld).
Before the baby came along and ruined everything, it was a great show. My favorites are the Raul Julia episode (I don't remember if it was actually him or not) and the Laugh-In episode.
Edit: Yep, Mike Schur, writer for "The Office", Cousin Mose, creator of "Parks & Recreation", Ken Tremendous from firejoemorgan.com, and also Regis Philbin's son-in-law.

You mean John Astin, actually. He was played by the real John Astin, but it was never completely clear who he was on the show.
Not only did the baby change the show, but the addition of that horrible marriage counselor really messed things up for me. But the early years of the show were really, really good. My favorites include Paul getting invited to Yoko Ono's party and Jamie's Thanksgiving dinner. | It's False

I watched that show for awhile, but it started grating on me way before any kid was born (because I'm pretty sure I stopped watching way before that happened). It got a lot of "Seinfeld" comparisons, which I suppose is understandable considering the similar styles and scenery, but I found it in no way anywhere near as funny of a show.
