I was kidding about that whole "Fire Jim Tressel" thing. Really. I was.
I'm totally torn here. I don't like sports games, but I have really enjoyed the last two NBA Street games. I'm also a Nintendo freak who will buy (almost) anything with Mario in it, so the Cube version would seem like a shoe in for my purchase- yet at the same time I'm contemplating the Xbox version for the sole reason of the online play. It's gonna be a tough choice.

Ah I think its a smart idea. The fans of the first two Street games will get the third probably and the Mario fan boys will want to at least rent this. Its not like you have to play as Mario or anything.
Incredibly smart idea by EA...or Nintendo whoever came up with it. You wouldn't think it make up for the fact that PS2 & X-Box gets online, but it will probably make a difference in the eyes of plenty of Mario marks everywhere. ...One is me.
