The NBA's greatest games are all too good. As far as this season goes, I try to catch all the Clippers, Grizzlies, and Kings games I can.

| #4 Posted on 9.1.02 1422.44 | Despite barely beating the Raptors last night, the Grizzlies TOTALLY SUCK. Jason Williams went on record saying as much a couple days ago, but has since apologized. It's not that they don't have talent, but right now, they just don't seem to have what it takes to win ballgames.

| #5 Posted on 9.1.02 1452.29 | Actually J-Dub is putting up a lot of assists this year...along with shots and turnovers, but whose counting? He's getting about 9 assists a game while putting up just as many threes. He was a rebound away from a triple-double the other night (and probably about 3 turnovers away from a quad). But watching him play is such a guilty pleasure of mine...I know that's not how the game should be played, but he has provided me with more "mark-out" moments that any wrestler.
As for the other Grizzlies, Battier is still adjusting, and Gasol is making a strong case rookie of the year honors. I think Stromile Swift has a ton of potential (no! I'm certainly not SEC biased!). The other guys are well... just kind of there. Wish them luck in the lottery for the next few years.

| #7 Posted on 10.1.02 0020.10 | If the Grizzlies manage to get the first pick in the draft next year than many people think they will take the OTHER Jason Williams and replace the Jason Williams they have now, with the Jason Williams they are going to draft. If that's so, I'd love to see the Jason Williams they have now end up on the Clippers some how. Sure J-Will turns the ball over, but running the court with all the athletic guys the Clips have would very entertaining, similar to the Kings.
But after a few years of being the leading scorer in the NBA and still not going far in the playoffs they'd probably do the same as the Kings and replace him with someone who doesn't turn it over and become even better. | JasonMF

| #9 Posted on 12.1.02 0231.11 | Yeah, J-Will does turn the ball over too much-- he's simply trying to be too freaking fancy. The Grizzlies need a Mark Jackson-esque point guard who's experienced and knows that making the smart pass is more helpful than making the spectacular pass.
The Kings made a major coup, trading with the Grizz and getting Mike Bibby.
I wouldn't be so hard on the Grizzlies right now, though. Yeah, they suck. Granted. But Shane Battier and Pau Gasol are 1-2 among rookies in scoring, so there's certainly hope for the future. If they keep those two together.
...Damn. Thinking about that just reminds me of when the Raptors had McGrady. How good would they be now if Tracy had swallowed his pride and stayed with the team and his cousin Vince Carter?
But noooooooooooooo. Why serve in heaven when you can reign in hell? I, for one, if I had that kind of talent (which I don't, otherwise I'd be doing something other than typing all this junk right now), would be more than happy sharing recognition with the top guy on my team if it meant being on a championship-caliber team. Now the Raptors and Magic are both just... above-average.
And that, as they say, is that.
