CRZ, I realize you have just about the best karaoke place in the world to go to with the selection of songs you post, but have you ever had the pleasure of doing Live Band Karaoke?
There's a bar here in Louisville that does it (I've never been), but I've recently had the pleasure of doing it at the Roux House in Baton Rouge, LA, and it is awesome. (edit for clarification: Live Band Karaoke = A full band playing a song with *you* as the lead singer)
The car wrecks of bad karaoke are near "CHiPs" quality pile-ups if someone doesn't really know the song because all you have is the lyric sheet, not the "sing along guide" that normal karaoke provides.
Hard to explain, but just a different experience than "regular" karaoke. Of course, the song selection is a bit more limited too, but still, a fun experience.

We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

I've been told they do it at Maier's in St. Matthews, but being married w/two kids (I only get to act like a fool when I travel), I can't say for sure from experience.
