Some friends from Modesto were in town on business, so we all got together for the cheap seats at the Twins game. Then, the Twins and Nationals were so good as to complete the game in 1:59 so we would be able to catch the second half of Game 6 (little did WE know it was already over, but it was still fun to watch!) Since we were already at the bar, we stuck around for the Staraoke, where very few people volunteered to sing - or even show up. So I practically lost my voice on these chestnuts:
Howard Jones - What Is Love? Sheena Easton - Sugar Walls Pet Shop Boys with Dusty Springfield - What Have I Done To Deserve This? (with Andrea) Lovely Day - Bill Withers Argent - Hold Your Head Up Frank Stallone - Far From Over Philip Oakey & Giorgio Moroder - Together in Electric Dreams (with Arzu)

I imagine you were in full "stand around and wait" mode during good portions of this song?
Nah, they take out all the groovy organ solos so it cuts to a pretty tight two and a half minutes.
No, the BIG wait is the 68 seconds in the middle of the Frank Stallone song. (I only performed that one because Arzu did Asia's "Only Time Will Tell," which I probably hadn't heard in something like 25 years, and I was inspired.)
I've never claimed to INVENT the term "Five Moves of Doom", just popularize it. And I got paid, once, after Denny Burkholder took over. I don't recall ever caring about Smackdown, though. Thanks for the birthday wishes!
