Most of you will recognize it as the song playing during Apu's scene in the "22 Short Films About Springfield" episode of The Simpsons.

During the Michael McDonald, did you catch anybody mouthing "It was a clear black night/A clear white moon/Warren G was on the streets/Tryin' to consume...?"

He even did it on Saturday night, and I mouthed the words to "I Keep Forgettin'" while the song was in progress. Later I did the Michael McDonald, and people were like "Someone else is doing 'Regulators'"? Also, I'm not a fan of sampling. "Forget belief systems. I then immediately turned to the other side to point at my girlfriend, who was just shaking her head in shame at my singing.
I did enjoy the random screams, though. |
