I was just wondering of anyone here is on Myspace, because I've been asked to set up myself on there and I'm wondering what the point of it is. What's it for, besides giving people a place to whine and vent at. I can already do that here, right, so why have another place for that?

I set up a MySpace account long ago, but haven't used it much. If you're familiar with Friendster, it's kind of the same thing. If you're not familiar with Friendster, it's basically a "six degrees" kind of thing where the more people you have listed as your friends gives you access to more people in their database when you do a search for people. I didn't really see much point in either MySpace or Friendster myself, but I did find a few old friends via the service who I hadn't seen or spoken to in years and was able to catch up with because of it, so I guess it did do something for me in the long run.
Boxing is in a sad state in general. It's sad to watch. The only guy I really like is local hero Paul Spadafora, who btw puts on a defensive boxing clinic every time he fights. Boxing will only get better when Don King dies or is institutionalized.
