At least my backup team the Pacers are doing reasonably well.
But whose got the best winning percentage in the league? The Lakers. MAN do I hate the Lakers.

I agree with you, by the way. I hate the Lakers, too. And for the same reason that you likely do.

From what I read in the Inquirer (not being in the immediate media market anymore), it sounds like the team has no chemistry (with King and Brown having traded or not resigned many of the cogs from last year's team) and Brown/Iverson spat resuming.
On a slight tangent, the Inquirer's beat reporter Ashley McGeachey was on PTI yesterday. I mention this only because I worked with her on the college newspaper at Indiana and I almost didn't recognize her.

Not sure...My teams never become the kick-ass team of the season. But you gotta understand that the casual fan (for the most part) always wants to see David slay Goliath...
But I have every right to be a Laker hater due to the fact that they took 2 of 3 finals series from my boys back in the 80's. Seeing that Magic hookshot in game 4 of the 87 finals makes me cringe everytime I see it.
