I had my in ring wrestling debut this past weekend, living out a life long dream and putting a check mark on my bucket list. Here's the match. There was no "rehearsal". We talked through the match a few times before, but I had not been in the ring to even test taking a bump before this match began. All things considered, I think I did a pretty alright job. Hope you enjoy. Thanks

Man, you fell for the outside distraction? Nicely done and quite entertaining, Monte!

Good for you! It's great that you got this recorded to remember it by.

And if nothing else comes of this long term, you'll always be able to look back on your life and say: "I threw clotheslines better than Lex Luger, and he was a World Champion."

I think my clotheslines look pretty bad, myself, but I was so blown up at that point I'm surprised I was even able to lift my arm! :)

If there's a rematch, the guys outside can distract by chanting "The Phantom Menace was the best of all the Star Wars films" or "Jar Jar Binks is awesome".

Those guys who came to the ring with the Mad Dragon are in a local "rival" band called Doogie. I will get even with them somehow, someway. They will go down.

That was really entertaining - congratulations on your hard work.

Interesting how low to the ground that ring was, though.

The ref was hot.

When's the rematch?

Obligatory "You sell better than half the WWE roster." comment.

Obligatory "Less botches than a Sin Cara match." comment.

I liked you Yellow Lantern costume. Congrats.

Forget it Josh... it's Cerebustown.

Good thing they stopped you from using the foreign object.
That would've been an instant dq.
At least now you can say you lost because of distraction.

So next time, make sure your own band is there at ringside to counter th rivals. Your team let you down, man.

I agree with the others, very entertaining.
You sold pretty well and omg I laughed out loud when you guys did a variation of the WM14 finish (missed superkick into the stunner)

Hard to believe you didn't practice. The stunner looked good, dropkick and elbows/punches were good. Awesome.

"Who shot first?" Hee! Love the obvious reference to "I Wanna Be Han Solo".

Using that as the distraction was a cheap shot, ya ask me. Xkcd would call that "nerd sniping".

Good match.

I stopped caring about the nerds part halfway through. It's not the most important part of the article to me. Here it is, the very thing I've been wrestling with in my life for years now: I have nothing to do.
