Never read Will Eisner's work (I know, I know) so all I see is Sin City redux, now with possibly even more sexuality, if not actual sex. Whatever, I'll see it.

In other words, yeah, it still looks like Sin City II with the Spirit tacked on.

It's gritty, sexual, grimey, and the hero is always a moody fellow that talks in rasp or whisper with a penchant for gainsay and ultraviolence. That summizes EVERY Sin City story (there are around 8 or 9), Dark Knight Returns (first time Batman's seen packing heat since the thirties, totally spits in the face of Batman hating guns), 300, and now this. I'm not saying I won't see the Spirit, or anything else the guy does, but I'll always know precisely what to expect in one of his projects.
