| #3 Posted on 20.3.03 1409.28 | I'm not even a Skynyrd fan and I agree. It boggles my mind that Black Sabbath hasn't gotten in yet, either, considering the massive influence they've had on the music industry and Ozzy Osbourne's new status as America's Sweetheart.
Although, they did induct perhaps their finest crop ever in Elvis Costello, AC/DC, The Police and The Muthafuckin' Clash, so I'm not *that* compelled to bitch at them.

Actually, they haven't been inducted. They've been on the ballot a couple times, but they never got voted in, so Ozzy just said "don't bother."
As for your question DJ FrostyFreeze, I believe the nominations are handled by music critics and their ilk.
By the way, there are so many reasons to bitch about the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame that my fingers would just fall off from so much typing long before I even get half way through the list that I'm not even going to get into it. I'll just say now that I agree with all your complaints and leave it at that for now.
