Well wieners, I usually don't spend nearly as much time talking about TNA as I do the WWE and joshi, but this week is a big exception. I've been watching TNA on and off since the beginning, and I've been checking it out every week since January. I gotta tell you, the business with Raven and Jeff Jarrett really is entertaining as hell. The first title match between them was tight, save for the rushed ending. The buildup has been superb, and what can I say about Raven? He just plain rules. Now tonight, TONIGHT could be it. Jarrett, AJ Styles and Raven in a three way dance for the title. The fans really want Raven to be champ now that Jarrett's turned into a bitch. AJ wouldn't be so bad either. Seriously, my fellow TNA watchers, do you really think that this will be THE NIGHT for Raven? Will Vinnie Ru kill our buzz for the third week in a row? Do you think it'll be a ten spot well spent by my bro, the fifth horseman?
Well, I have watched almost every TNA ppv from the get-go, and generally I have enjoyed it. The last couple of weeks I have missed and not really been inspired to get the replays later in the week, but this one I may have to arrange to have taped for me or else catch it when it comes on later in the week, because this really is a chance for culmination of a LOT of angle threads in one night. So I'd say go for it. The match should be *** or better, and the stories could finally intersect in a way that if Vinnie Ru still has it in him could get up to SurSer 98 level intricacy and success.
Or at the end of the night Vince Russo and Glen Gilberti could be co-NWA champ. You never know ;)
I don't have 2000 words in me, but I'm into 205 Live again, so imma keep it short(ish). OPEN: Nigel still has his horrible grey-on-black outfit, this time with a shiny paisley tie (barf).
