Are these legal? I found one that has tons of old no-hit-wonders, and I found another that has... well, stuff I'm pretty sure they shouldn't have up, which is why I'm not listing either just incase.

As you can guess, I'm usually the LAST person to find out about stuff like this.

How do I find more without scrolling through tons of blogs with emo kids proclaiming how 'totally rad awesome' MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE is?

They aren't totally legal, but a lot of them are actually encouraged by the labels. They seem them as a free way of getting singles by new bands out to a huge audience, and in return for that, they mostly look the other way when the blogs distribute works by bigger artists.

It's a gray area, but one that's been a very good marketing solution for labels -- especially smaller labels.

One I check often is Stereogum.com

There's also http://elbo.ws/

they let you search to see what blogs are talking about the artists you like, or even search to see what blogs are offering mp3s

Peter Steele has the biggest...thingy in all of music. According to disgusting metal hag-girls who saw his Playgirl photos, anyway. Still, his voice rules. Plus they recorded Kane's theme for the new WWF CD. This is the end of the post.
