Has Kids WB gone mad? Their newest cartoon, debuting next week, is apparently based on Lucha. The commercials haven't made much sense to me and it just looks like a wacky cartoon, but the Lucha theme has me intrigued...
Perhaps someone at that network just likes wrestling, I'm watching a new episode of Pokemo...err...I mean, my little brother is watching Pokemon and the really cool Hollywood Star who is the "guest star" of the episode is named Brad Van Darn. ^_^

"You can't fire a gun in a confined space! What are you tring to do, make us deaf?!" "Just get out of the chopper." "What?" "Get out of the chopper!" "The crops!?" - Jack Lemmon and James Garner, "My Fellow Americans", and the reason I say "The crops?" instead of "Huh?"

The cool thing about their offical site, if you'll only just Click Here, is that there's a little game where you can create your own luchadore, and if they like it, they might use it on the show. Can't beat that with a stick (unless you like getting paid for your creations.)

They do at least seem to be pushing (at least in the commercials) the ideas of "family" and "tradition," which are the foundations of lucha.
You're all so WONDERFUL. Why did they ever have to remove you from the continuity? You'd have made for MARVELOUS stories. You WILL make marvelous stories. And the FIRST story of the new world will be a story of REVENGE! -- The Psycho Pirate, Animal Man 23, May 1990.
-Clark DID get stronger. Martha mentioned this back in season one, where she & Jonathan were talking about Clark's development and "He gets a little faster and a little stronger every year". -Cardinal Comics Rule:
