I am looking to get a cheap MP3 player, but I do not want to get an iPOD nano or whatever the cheap one is. Can anyone give me some insight into which brand and model to go with? I'd like to keep it under $75.

I second the recommendation for a Sansa product. I've had a first generation 1GB Clip since the week they were introduced and have never had a single issue with it. Same deal with my wife. We've connected them fine with Windows, Mac, and various Linux machines. Fantastic devices.
Lloyd: When I met Mary, I got that old fashioned romantic feeling, where I'd do anything to bone her. Harry: That's a special feeling.
We purchased a Sony for our daughter with I think 16 gig for like $90 and he 8 gig is about $60. She loves it, works great with all the sites and lasts a long, long time between charges. It was recommended by some Ws and they were right. Also navigates pretty well and easy to read screen. AT least that's what she tells us.

I believe I had recommended the Sony Walkman MP3 player. It IS a great player as well, and fairly cheap compared to Ipods. And, it's small as well. It's also a great player. (we have like three Ipods, a Zune, and a Walkman)
I bought my $30.00 COBY player (4GB) at Future Shop (a Canadian electronics superstore) works well enough for me. Its' not intended for anything more than playing music. Using it for anything else is useless. I just load it up with music, put it on RANDOM, and there I go. Navigating the stuff on the player is kinda difficult as it's very slow, but if you're looking for something that works and that isn't a major investment, this one is for you.
did that work? Hope so. Other than an Ipod - any other favorites for video clips as well?

Before last season, I bought a used Craftsman 2 Stage Snow Thrower with the 9 hp Tecumseh Snow King electric start engine. It's a very good machine, and the support at Sears is always reliable, and parts are pretty easy to obtain.
