But since I got it, I've had an error message when I try to go to a different website or click a link. It says, for example, "the connection was refused when attempting to attempt to the-w.com," or "connection failed...," or something similar. This isn't a huge deal, but if anyone knows if this is a problem or knows if it points to other problems, I'd appreciate the help.

This generally indicates a problem with the website's server (down, not responding, connection problems). I think IE would generate an in-browser error message in a similar situation. Does it always happen on particular sites, or is it more random?

Fried Egg: It's pretty random. I've had it happen a few times on this site, which is usually one of the faster loading sites that I visit.
I belive this is something within the browser because I can usually go to the link if I try to do it with IE.

Willful ignorance of science is not commendable. Refusing to learn the difference between a credible source and a shill is criminally stupid. |
